採用二次充填美國橡木桶、美國橡木重組桶和歐洲橡木桶原酒，是一款特別成熟的威士忌，整體風味也展現Caol Ila 酒廠的DNA。 Caol Ila 通常是泥煤風味相當突出的威士忌，但在2005年之前的幾年，有一小批次是使用未經泥煤煙燻的麥芽製作。 這個特殊批次的產品，被威士忌調酒師讚賞為「高地風味」。自2006年後，這批每年有一小部分裝瓶以Special Release推出，系列產品今年已經邁入13年。
